Who these terms cover
These terms apply to friowaterco.com, our phone and text line, and the water tests and quotes we provide. Frio Water Co LLC is a residential water treatment company in Plano, Texas, serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Prices on this website
The listed prices cover the listed equipment and standard professional installation. Your home must use city water. We check your home before we accept the job. Your quote lists the size, access, pipes, drain, power, and local rules. Extra work costs more. This may include digging, new pipe connections, backflow devices, new drains, wiring, or larger equipment. We list those costs in your quote. Sales tax is added to the equipment price. Paying by card adds a 3% fee.
Your written quote sets the terms for your project. If this site and your quote differ, your written quote applies.
Payment schedule
For a new system: Pay half (50%) when you accept your quote and book the work. Pay the other half (50%) when setup is complete. The first payment counts toward the total price. It is not an extra booking fee. Before you accept, your quote lists the equipment and work. It also lists the total price and each payment amount.
The final payment is due when the agreed work and setup are complete. We must also give you instructions for use and care. We explain any steps you need to take, such as flushing a drinking water tank. We write down any unfinished work and the agreed plan to fix it. Paying does not remove your warranty rights. It does not remove your rights when work is unfinished or faulty.
You can pay by bank transfer (ACH) or card through Stripe. Each payment request states what it is for and how much is due. You must approve extra work in writing before it starts. That approval must cover the work, price, and payment timing. We need separate approval to charge the final balance. Sending this site’s form does not accept a quote or approve a payment.
Warranty
The equipment maker and the plumber provide separate coverage. Your quote includes the warranty papers that apply. Work, shipping, replacement supplies, and regular care may cost extra. See our warranty and service page.
Photo quotes and project changes
Photos help us check your home. We may still need to visit or test your water. Your quote lists what we expect to find. If your home needs extra work, we explain the new plan and price. You must approve them before that work starts.
Existing agreements and cancellation
We honor the written promises already made to customers. Changes to this site do not change signed agreements or legal rights. Your written purchase agreement explains how cancellations and returns work.
Your first payment does not remove any legal right to cancel or get a refund. If the law gives you time to cancel, we honor that time. We give you the required notice and forms with your purchase agreement. If the law requires a full refund, we do not deduct a cancellation fee. Any other cancellation or return fees must be in your written agreement before you accept. Your first payment is not automatically nonrefundable.
Changes
If we update these terms, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
