Reverse osmosis for your kitchen in Plano

Compare tankless and storage-tank drinking water systems, with equipment and standard professional installation quoted for your home.

Start with the water you want to use

Kitchen reverse osmosis treats water at a dedicated drinking-water tap. It is a different job from softening all the water entering your home. Tell us whether you want filtered water for drinking, coffee or cooking, and what you already have under the sink. We do not assume an under-sink system can supply the whole house.

Tankless or a system with a tank?

FRIO offers tankless kitchen RO and a five-stage option with a storage tank. A tankless unit avoids a separate storage tank, but it still needs space for the unit, tubing and filter changes. A storage-tank system needs space for both the filters and tank. The right choice depends on cabinet dimensions, water pressure, available power and how you use the tap.

What we check before installation

Send a wide photo of the open sink cabinet, a close photo of the plumbing, and a photo showing nearby power and the faucet area. We check the cold-water connection, drain connection, faucet opening, cabinet access and the selected model’s power requirements. Tell us about a disposal, dishwasher or other equipment sharing that space. A refrigerator connection is not assumed; ask us to assess it and quote any extra work.

A separate quote with a defined scope

Kitchen RO is optional, quoted separately and is not included in the Compact or Two-tank home package. Ask for a separate written quote identifying the equipment, standard professional installation, sales tax and any extra plumbing or electrical work. FRIO supplies the equipment and coordinates installation; an independent licensed Texas plumber performs the plumbing work. We confirm the scope before scheduling.

Filter changes and ongoing costs

Filters and the RO membrane need replacement according to the selected model’s manual and actual water use. Intervals and costs vary by model, so we provide the applicable care information with your quote rather than promising one schedule for every system. Ask about replacement cartridge availability, membrane cost and access for servicing before choosing equipment.

Know the limits of the model

A system’s performance depends on its model, feed water and maintenance. Ask for the manufacturer’s documentation and any applicable certified reduction claims for the exact model quoted. We do not claim that every RO unit removes every contaminant. A utility report describes an area’s water supply and is not a test of the water at your kitchen tap.
